Brand

How to properly represent the Delphi brand across all mediums.

Philosophy

We design for humans first. Most AI feels cold and impersonal, but Delphi should feel like talking to someone who actually gets you. Warm, approachable, genuinely helpful. Other companies put AI as the main character. We think people are more interesting, and everyone has something worth sharing.

Our visual language draws from Greco-Futurism: grounded in classical foundations, but looking forward hopefully. We stand on the shoulders of giants, honoring what came before while building for what's next. The result is a brand that feels timeless without being stuck in the past, bold without being intimidating.

Technology should fade into the background and let real connection take center stage. That means warm stone tones, a pop of tangerine when something matters, and enough clarity that anyone can feel at home using Delphi, no matter their technical background.

Trademark

The Delphi logo represents our commitment to making AI that truly understands and represents individuals. Our mark system consists of three elements: the Logomark, the Wordmark, and the Combination Mark.

Logomark

The Delphic Epsilon is our symbol – a distinctive mark that can stand alone in contexts where the brand is already established.

Wordmark

The Delphi wordmark uses our custom Pythia typeface. Always include the registered trademark symbol (®) when space permits.

Combination Mark

When using the logomark and wordmark together, maintain proper spacing: the gap between elements should be 0.5× the height of the logomark.

Use the dark logo on light backgrounds and the light logo on dark backgrounds.

Use the logo in its original proportions
Maintain clear space around the logo equal to the height of the epsilon
Use the light logo on dark backgrounds and vice versa
Stretch, distort, or rotate the logo
Add effects like shadows, gradients, or outlines
Place the logo on busy backgrounds that reduce legibility

Typography

Our typography system pairs two complementary typefaces: Pythia for display and Inter for body text.

Pythia Type

A bold remix of TWK Issey with custom glyphs. We use Pythia for headlines, the wordmark, and specific Delphi features such as profile names. It includes expanded iconography as glyphs within the typeface.

Pythia TypeABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijkl#noparstuvwxyz1234567890

Inter Variable

A classic sans-serif that's free and open source. We use Inter for body text, interface elements, and all long-form content. Its variable font capabilities allow for precise weight adjustments.

Display / 48px / Weight 600The quick brown fox
Heading / 32px / Weight 600The quick brown fox jumps
Body / 16px / Weight 400The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. Pack my box with five dozen liquor jugs.
Use Pythia for headlines, the wordmark, and profile names
Use Inter for body text, UI elements, and long-form content
Apply -2% letter spacing to Pythia for optimal readability
Use Pythia for body text or long paragraphs
Mix other typefaces with our brand fonts
Use weights outside of our defined scale

Colors

Our color palette is based on the OKLCH color space for perceptual uniformity. A signature tangerine is bold and signifies a 'Delphi' feature, with universal blues and warm gray tones creating a welcoming vibe.

Tangerine

Our signature orange is used sparingly – reserved for highlights and to signify Delphic concepts. It should feel special, not overwhelming.

/* Tangerine Scale (OKLCH) - defined in globals.css */
--tangerine-9: oklch(0.67 0.22 42); /* #FD5400 - Base brand color */
--tangerine-10: oklch(0.60 0.21 42); /* Hover */
--tangerine-11: oklch(0.50 0.18 42); /* Active */
--tangerine-12: oklch(0.40 0.14 42); /* Text */

Blue

Our universal blue complements the tangerine. Used for links, interactive elements, and to balance the warmth of the palette.

/* Blue Scale (OKLCH) */
--blue-9: oklch(0.6 0.18 250); /* Base */
--blue-10: oklch(0.52 0.18 250); /* Hover */
--blue-11: oklch(0.44 0.18 250); /* Active */
--blue-12: oklch(0.30 0.18 250); /* Text */

Stone

Warm gray tones form our neutral foundation. The stone palette creates a welcoming, approachable feel across all surfaces.
